Testimonials - Success stories

A single mother of two, decided she wanted to start her own cleaning business. With the encouragement of staff, she created a business proposal, registered her business, applied for an Employer Identification Number, designed business cards, and bought uniforms. This week she got her first cleaning contract!

We have an undocumented, Spanish-speaking family who we helped move into their own apartment this week. They had been homeless since January and residents of Lambuth since April. While at Lambuth, staff collaborated to offer them case management in Spanish, help them gain access to eligible public benefits, connect them to a rental assistance program, and help them secure an apartment that accepts undocumented folk. This was truly a whole team effort and a great success for our program.
